The Philippine Air Force's C295 Aircraft of The 220th Airlift Wing Performed Series of Flight Mission

The Philippine Air Force's C295 aircraft of the 220th Airlift Wing performed series of flight mission from Villamor Air Base to Virac, Catanduanes to airlift relief goods and operational requirements needed for the rehabilitation of Bicol Region.

For the past four days, the airlift assets of your Philippine Air Force, C-130, C295 and NC 212i aircraft are on full force, airlifting the much needed goods to and from Virac and Legaspi. 

This shows that as always, your Philippine Air Force is ever ready to respond around the clock. The Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response operations in response to Typhoon Rolly is a continuous operation of the Philippine Air Force with other government and non-government organizations. 

The fixed wing airlift assets of the Philippine Air Force is under the 220th Airlift Wing of the Air Mobility Command. The quick and continuous airlift response is a reflection of impeccable logistics and financial management, efficient plans and programs and excellent personnel management and upgrading. 

This also shows the intensive maintenance work of 470th Maintenance and Supply Group of the 220th Airlift Wing that ensures maximum number of airlift assets that are airworthy and ready to respond anytime.
