Naval Sea Systems Training Center Of Philippine Navy is Officially Open

 The Naval Sea Systems Training Center (NSSTC) Gas Turbine Engine Simulator,is officially open, and a ceremonial blessing with ribbon-cutting was conducted This October 9, 2020, with no less than Vice Admiral GAUDENCIO C COLLADO of Philippine Navy, Vice Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines as guest of honor.

The gas turbine LM2500 simulator is designed to demonstrate the operational system, emergency operations and troubleshooting, optimal operation, fuel economy and energy conservation. 

Likewise, the simulator can be used to teach basic and advanced learning that can help students attain professional qualifications and become highly-qualified engineers.

Apart from this, Naval Sea Systems Command (NSSC) Commander Rear Admiral ROMMEL JASON L GALANG of Philippine Navy also showcased the Center's 360 Virtual Room and Video Recording Room. 

These initiatives are NSSTC's ways of adapting to the new normal - the great education shift to the online platform.

Though relatively new, NSSC believes that by being present and available virtually can not only ensure the safety of both students and instructors but more importantly, address the learning gaps created by today's situation.
