The 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group(AMG) On 16 October 2020, led by Lieutenant Commander ANGEL E CUENO PAF (GSC) conducted the blessing of SF-260 FH with tail number 043 with Commander, Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command, Major General FERDINAND M CARTUJANO PAF as Guest of Honor.
This was the first time for the 440th AMG to complete a 3000 mandatory inspection in less than 30 days since the normal procedure takes 60 days. It started on 09 Sep 2020 and finished last 07 Oct 2020 (28 days).
The involved officers and enlisted personnel have ensured the highest standard of aircraft maintenance without sacrificing the safety and excellence of their assigned tasks.
The team unselfishly exerted their efforts and devoted their extra time for the successful completion of the project. In this regard, the 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group personnel, who took part in this endeavor, led by the 440th AMG, Group Commander, Lieutenant Commander CUENO PAF (GSC), received Military Merit Medal in recognition for their invaluable service rendered to the Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command and Philippine Air Force as a whole.
